Avocado I.R. Close to Launch

Incident Report

Did you know: Avocado I.R. can run as a stand-alone Incident Reporting solution without needing the Avocado Recreation Management System?

Spreadsheets, emails, binders full of paper and third party applications. Sound familiar? These are just some of the ways organizations use to manage staff and member incident reporting. However, whether you’re using a digital solution or a tried and true pen and paper solution, there is very little connection between your member or staff record and the incident itself. That’s why we built Avocado I.R. – to connect the dots in one system – and create connections between the staff, members, locations and incident types within the core Avocado operations system.

Developed in 2018, Avocado I.R. is now out of its alpha testing phase and ready for a beta testing pilot early next month.

At the root of it, Avocado I.R. is a standalone Salesforce App. However, when combined with Avocado Rec, our recreation and facility management platform, Avocado I.R. integrates seamlessly with the underlying Salesforce objects to connect the dots of an incident to the players involved. This gives a deeper view of data on a member record, a staff record, or a location, to give a broader understanding of the factors at play.” says Michael Ferri, the primary architect behind Avocado I.R.

Avocado I.R. features an integrated customizable dashboard, a slew of prebuilt and customizable reports and gives visibility into the history of incidents on an Avocado member record, and facility object.

The first step is simply to create an integrated incident management system. So many organizations are using disparate systems that don’t speak, and aren’t integrated in any way. Avocado I.R. changes this, and leverages existing Salesforce licenses. For not-for-profit-organizations it’s even more attractive, since Salesforce gives these types of organizations 10 free annual licenses under the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).” says Michael Grant, Chief Sales and Strategy Officer.

Grant continues “And for existing Avocado clients the benefits are even greater. This is just another element in the 360º constituent view that Avocado offers. And the work isn’t complete when Avocado I.R. launches. The next steps go beyond reporting and management. We hope to leverage Salesforce’s powerful artificial intelligence powered predictive analytics platform, called Einstein, to help us identify and mitigate risks before they become incidents.
