We understand that the nonprofit sector is a social, collaborative space. That’s why we created the Avocado User Group:  a means to start conversations, share ideas, and encourage collaboration in our growing Avocado community. The user group is now live on Meetup, you can join the group today! 

Past Webinar: Recovery Rates Strategies

To kick off the new user group, we hosted a webinar on June 15th with eCard Transactions CEO Craig Millius and Greater Philadelphia YMCA’s VP of IT Mark Morrison to discuss Recovery Rate Strategies. 

Our hosts introduced simple, effective strategies to significantly increase recovery of revenues lost to incomplete payments using eCards innovative solution seamlessly with Avocado. 

Craig Millius began the meeting with a quick introduction to eCard Transaction’s solution and showcased what sets it apart from so many payment processors on the market. eCard Transactions promises a consistent increase in revenue by automatically rectifying lost payments, and lets nonprofit organizations focus on the important work they do for their communities. 

Mark Morrison took the floor to share his experience implementing eCard’s solution at  the YMCA of Greater Philadelphia. Mark shared great insights into how simply eCard Transactions can work with Avocado to boost revenue at his organization.

Coming Soon: Navigating Childcare Subsidies – A Round Table Series

The next event  in the Avocado User Group will be the first in a series of roundtable discussions between Avocado Clients and other professionals working in the childcare division. The event will queue a series of regular roundtable discussions between Avocado Users specialized in childcare to share progress and advice as they work to implement changes necessary to adapt to $10 a day childcare. The first discussion takes place on July 13th at 2PM EDT, we encourage a representative from your organizations child care department to join in the event. 

The Avocado Team will also be showcasing modules and features built into our Avocado Rec Software Suite that can help your organization get started on the right track as your team adapts to new childcare subsidies.
