How many members currently belong to your association? And, how many of them are engaged with you? The more you engage with members of your organization, the better your prospects become for your long-term success. Engaged individuals are more likely to be loyal to your association and devoted members typically serve as ambassadors, which is why organizations cultivate them to add more members to the ranks.
We all know that building a loyal constituent base takes times and requires focus. And it requires that we consistently deliver value to increase engagement and connect with constituents. This is the basic tenet that Avocado Engage was built on.
“Avocado Engage is an Avocado App that’s meant to be run on a tablet and utilized by in-house staff to engage with members in-facility. Avocado Engage displays images of members that are currently in your facility and gives your engagement team a quick reference of the key data points associated with that member. Your engagement team members can then connect with your constituents in a more personalized way, by name, and with a deeper understanding of the member.” says Michael Grant, Chief Sales and Strategy Officer.
Avocado Engage also leverages Einstein, Salesforce’s predictive analytics platform powered by artificial intelligence, to help identify constituents that are at a greater risk of cancellation or nonrenewal based on a number of data points.
“The hope is that by leveraging AI to help identify members that at higher risk for cancellation we can notify our engagement team members to try and get ahead of it and engage with the members. Perhaps sign them up for a free training session right on the spot through Avocado Engage.” says Grant. “The key is to make the connection and chat. We’re also planning on expanding the use-case for Engage to make the check-in and check-out process for camps, classes and child care more streamlined.”
Avocado Engage is now in alpha testing mode and will be in use at certain locations in order to collect user feedback and improvement requests.
